I have been making leather
bags and tapestries from Deer and Elk hide since 1994. Everything I make is done in the traditional Lakota Sioux methods.
I learned to do this from a Lakota Sioux man named Barry Silveira, who signs his work as Ghost Bear. He taught me how to do
this style of leather craft during the years we lived together. He is now painting and showing his work in galleries, we work
together whenever we can.
